"He Said She Said"
Song

"He Said She Said" is the second single from Ashley Tisdale's debut album, Headstrong. The single was released in the UK & USA on September 17, 2007 [2] and in Germany on October 26, 2007.

The song is featured on the North American version of the popular dance video game series, Dance Dance Revolution entitled Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2. The song will be featured in the Spanish-language version of Madden NFL 08.

This song was #39 on MTV Asia's list of Top 100 Hits of 2007.[3]

Song Info

It was co-written by top songwriter/producer J. R. Rotem (Britney Spears, Destiny's Child, Rihanna), Evan "Kidd" Bogart (Rihanna, Sean Kingston, Blake Lewis), and Ryan "Alias" Tedder (Jennifer Lopez, Ludacris, Blake Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield). The song leaked in full on December 10. The song was released as a single on iTunes on December 19, 2006 alongside "Headstrong", the title track from her debut album. It was released to U.S. Radios in February 2007 before "Be Good To Me" was released, since "He Said She Said" was originally going to be first single. However, it has since been pushed back with "Be Good to Me" acting as the first single.

Music Videos

First Version

The first video for "He Said She Said" was filmed on January 25, 2007. In the video, Tisdale is in a high school. She becomes attracted to a male student and does various things to impress him. Tisdale enters a classroom, and starts to daydream. Then the class room turns into a nightclub. She starts having a dance-off with the mean girls from her school, and at the end, dances with the object of her affection. Tisdale has mentioned on a YouTube video that for the first scene of the video, she slammed a locker door so hard that it could not be reopened for a retake. She has also stated that there was originally supposed be a kissing scene in the video, but it has been removed for the purpose of her younger fans. The first video for "He Said, She Said" is directed by Chris Applebaum. It has been confirmed by Tisdale her self in a YouTube video[4] that the music video directed by Chris Applebaum has been scrapped.
