Airways International Cymru was an airline based in Cardiff, Wales. The airline ceased all operations in 1988 after going bust.

History

This airline was based in Cardiff, Wales and began operations in 1984 with BAC 1-11 to destinations in southern Europe, North African and the Canary Islands. In 1986 the Boeing 737-300 was introduced. Financial problems forced the airline to cut back service and three aircraft were taken back by the leasing companies in 1988. Soon thereafter the operating certificate was revoked and the airline shut down. [1]
