  1. ^ The naming rights for NASCAR races are typically sold to companies to advertise in the sport. These rights are frequently resold to different buyers, sometimes yearly, so the event names change. The names listed here are those for the 2007 season.
  2. ^ During post-race inspection, it was discovered that Jeff Gordon's car was one inch too low due to misaligned bolts on a shock absorber. Gordon kept the win, but as a result started 42nd in the 2007 Daytona 500.
