The City School is one of largest school systems in Pakistan. It has branches in many Pakistani cities, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Lahore, Sukkur, Sahiwal, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Peshawar, Quetta, Mardan, Dera Ghazi Khan and others. It also has international branches in UAE and Bangladesh. It has a total of 150 branches in 42 cities across Pakistan[1]. The City School system, in collaboration with various other international institutions formed The City APIIT. Established in 1978, The City School's courses are modeled on those of British schools. Most of its students opt to take the international GCE O'level and A'Level examinations organized by the UCLES (University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate).[2] DO NOT ADMIT INTO THIS SCHOOL. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY COMPLAINTS FROM STUDENTS OF THIS SCHOOL ABOUT THE SCHOOL'S CRAPPY SYSTEM AND EDUCATION. ESPECIALLY DARAKHSHAN CAMPUS.

PAF Chapter

Located in Karachi, this is one of the largest campuses of The City School (TCS). It is a co-educational campus where classes are available from Play Group through to A levels[3]. The name of this school derives from the land it is built upon, which is Pakistan Air Force (PAF) property. PAF Chapters facilities include a swimming pool with bleachers for spectators, a large playing field with volleyball courts, multi story cafeteria for A level students, extensive parking space for teachers and students, science and computer labs in middle school as well as O level and A level sections, music room in elementary section, large libraries in all sections, separate weight rooms for O level and A level students, and a common room for A level students.[4]

Although PAF Chapter is one of the most expensive schools in the country, and is attended by the children of some of the richest and the most influential families of Pakistan, its academic reputation relative to some other Karachi private schools is not unblemished. In a country where grades are of high importance, PAF students had underachieved in recent years. However in 2004, the A level administration introduced a scholarship program aimed at attracting the best students to attend the school. However in the year 2007 Mr Samad Raza Khan of The City school Gulshan e Iqbal who is quite famous for his mathematical mind won 4 consistant competition making a record of math all over the Karachi. In the end he was rewarded with a shield of honour by the school authorities.it is a butiful and good branch

PAF School Culture

PAF Chapter has many competitive sports teams such as cricket, soccer, athletics, netball and volleyball. These teams regularly take part in domestic and international competitions, and regularly win trophies.

Ever since the expansion of PAF Chapters A levels section in 2004, when the Darkhshan A level branch was merged with this branch, a distinct culture unique to PAF has evolved. The sport of volleyball has gained immense popularity in this school, with both boys and girls involved in games almost every school day. At the beginning of every academic year, the A2 students host a "welcome" party for the incoming A level freshmen. At the end of the year, the freshmen return the favour by throwing a "farewell" party for the seniors. Occasionally, concerts are arranged on school premises during off hours for the students.

Events are held to mark Independence day, Valentine's Day and school is off on some religious days.

The school has several clubs that students are encouraged to join. Some of the clubs are drama, social services, sports, science and yearbook.Mr Moeed Raza Khan who is famous for his sports throughout the school as he has won many awards for his school and last he was given a remarkable march past by the athletic team and a trophy for his remarkable performance.
