The McGriddles is a breakfast sandwich sold by the international fast-food restaurant chain McDonald's. It is available in the American, Canadian, and Japanese markets.

Product description

The "standard" variant of the McGriddles sandwiches consists of bacon, egg and American cheese served on a small pancake injected with maple flavoring deep inside its griddle folds. The top of the griddle cake is embossed with the McDonald's logo.

History

McGriddles were first introduced in McDonald chains in 2003. The sandwich is often referred to as the "McGriddle".

After a successful trial in late 2007, McGriddles are due to launch across the United Kingdom in March 2008.
