The Saab 38 (also known as B3LA) was a jettrainer and attack aircraft planed by Saab during the 1970s. The project was relly a colaberation between Saab and the itailen aircraft manufacturer Alenia Aermacchi. The plane never gott pass the drawingboard and was cancelled in 1979 in favor of the more advanced Saab 39 Gripen fighter.
