(13238) Lambeaux is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 25 April 1998 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.
The asteroid was named on July 2, 2015 after the Belgian sculptor Jef Lambeaux (1852–1908), one of whose most famous works is the Brabo fountain in Antwerp .
