(1793) Zoya is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on February 28, 1968 by the Russian astronomer Tamara Smirnova at the Crimean observatory in Nautschnyj ( observatory code 095).

The asteroid was named after the Soviet partisan in World War II and heroine of the Soviet Union Soja A. Kosmodemjanskaja .
