(2497) Kulikovskij ( 1977 PZ 1 ; 1969 RX ; 1973 QP 1 ) is an asteroid of the central main belt that was discovered on August 14, 1977 by the Russian (then: Soviet Union ) astronomer Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych at the Crimean Observatory (Nautschnyj branch) on the peninsula Crimea ( IAU code 095) was discovered.
designation
(2497) Kulikovskij was named after the Russian astronomer Pyotr Grigorjewitsch Kulikowski (1910-2003). As an assistant professor at Moscow's Lomonosov University , he is known as the author of a reference work for amateur astronomers and as a musician and composer .
