(24999) Hieronymus is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on July 24, 1998 by the Czech astronomer Petr Pravec at the Ondřejov observatory ( IAU code 557) in the Czech Republic.
The asteroid was on August 4, 2001, after the Dutch painters of the Renaissance Hieronymus Bosch named (around 1450 to 1560), stands out whose work by its symbolism.
