(3902) Yoritomo is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 14 January 1986 by the Japanese astronomer Shigeru Inoda and Takeshi Urata at the Observatory of Karasuyama ( IAU code 889) in Tochigi Prefecture was discovered.

The asteroid was named after Minamoto no Yoritomo (1147–1199), the first shogun in Japan and founder of the Kamakura shogunate .
