(5036) Tuttle is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 31 October 1991 by the Japanese astronomer Seiji Ueda and Hiroshi Kaneda at the Observatory of Kushiro ( IAU code was discovered 399).
The asteroid is named after the American astronomer and comet discoverer Horace Parnell Tuttle .
