The Ödriegel is an elongated 1156 m above sea level. NHN high mountain ridge that belongs to the Arberkamm in the northern Bavarian Forest .
Geographical location
The Ödriegel lies on the border of the Upper Palatinate district of Cham with the communities Arrach in the north-northwest and Lam in the north-northeast and the Lower Bavarian district of Regen with the community of Arnbruck in the south-southwest. On the flat summit of the Ödriegels there are some rock bars that allow a view of the Lamer Winkel , the Osser and the Hohen Bogen . Most hikers pass the Ödriegel on their tour along the European long-distance hiking trail E6 , which leads from the Arber to the Kaitersberg . As an independent hike, it is rarely climbed, more in connection with the neighboring mountains Mühlriegel and Schwarzeck.
