The Ölsiefen is a river between Engeldorf in the municipality of Kürten and Georghausen in the municipality of Lindlar .

The Ölsiefen rises in Engeldorf and flows after 1.005 km through the nature reserve Ölsiefental south of Offermannsheide near Georghausen into the Sülz. Except in the source area, there are no buildings nearby. In the 19th century, the Oelsiefen residential area of the same name was in the Ölsiefental . The oil depths have no identifiable tributaries.
Catchment area
The catchment area of the Ölsiefen is limited
- in the north through the Kollenbach ,
- to the west by the Alemigssiefen and
- in the south through the receiving Sülz.
