Oskar Kokoschka Prize
The Oskar Kokoschka Prize is a state prize of the Austrian Federal Government and has been awarded every two years since 1980, on March 1st, the birthday of Oskar Kokoschka (1886–1980), by the Federal Ministry of Science and Research for outstanding performance in the field of education Forgive art . The chairman of the jury is the respective rector of the University of Applied Arts Vienna . The prize is endowed with 20,000 euros.
In the 1960s, the City of Salzburg also awarded an Oskar Kokoschka Prize.
