İşte Benim Stilim (Bu Tarz Benim) ("My Style Rocks") is a casting show on the Turkish TV channel TV8 .

Initially, the show was broadcast on Show TV from September 15, 2014 under the title Bu Tarz Benim . After the end of the first season, the format switched to TV8. However, Show TV also decided to stick with the show with a new jury. A court ruling stipulated that the original format, which was now broadcast on TV8, had to change the title, while the one on Show TV had to make changes in content. From Bu Benim Tarz was İşte Benim Stilim . The title song was retained, but only the melody, without text, as it contained the original show title. The new format, on Show TV, ran under Bu Tarz Benim and male participants were now also allowed. After a short time, the old format, which was now being broadcast under the title İşte Benim Stilim , won the competition. The new competition format, on Show TV, was discontinued after only 38 episodes due to falling audience ratings.

The Romanian offshoot of the show is called "Bravo, ai style!" and is broadcast on Kanal D Romania . Another adaptation is the Greek show "My Style Rocks Greece", which runs on Skai TV .

Every week the participants compete against each other. The participants wear different outfits from Monday to Friday and hope that they will win the daily “star”. The show focuses heavily on the preprogrammed "cat war". Whoever of the participants could achieve the greatest number of stars at the end of the week is safe in the big final show on Saturday and cannot be nominated for elimination by the others. Whoever got the fewest points in the final show must hope that the jury will decide in their favor. Points are awarded on a scale from 0 to 10 points, with 10 points being the highest possible score; however, it is very rare for 0 to 3 points to be awarded. Mostly there were 4 to 5 points that rate bad clothing, 6 to 7 a more average one, whereby the 6 is more often received as dissatisfied, and 8 to 10, which characterize inspiring clothing. As the broadcast shows, it is less common to get 0 points than to get 10 points, even if you missed a topic.

procedure

The sequence is expressed in the same cycle every week:

• From Monday to Thursday, the participants can dress with any topic.
• On Fridays (broadcast at noon) the topic is cuma şık ( translated in Turkish for Friday evening wear ).
• On Fridays (broadcast in the evening) the eleme gecesi (Night of Elimination) is broadcast. Different topics are set every week, to which all participants must orient themselves.
• The final is the last episode of each season and is accompanied by the jury on the result of the votes that contributed to the winner without awarding points. The voting usually starts in the last week of the broadcast, as the broadcasts are never live, followed by a break in the live broadcast at the finale when the points are awarded.

Jury (current cast)

• Ivana Sert , also İkoncan called (seasons 1 to 7) , was on 25. October 1979 in Serbia born Ivana Smiljković. She was married to the entrepreneur Yurdal Sert, with whom she also has a son, Kayon Ateş Sert. After almost ten years of marriage, the Serb separated from her husband and started her own business. Today Ivana works as a presenter, entrepreneur, model , designer , actress and writer in Turkey. For example, she designed costumes for the Sex and the City series .
• Uğurkan Erez (seasons 1 to 7) is a choreographer , also part of the jury from the very beginning and deals with the girls every day. For example, he works with you on the right posture or gives advice on styling.
• Kemal Doğulu (seasons 1 to 4 and 7) , was born on October 14, 1979 in Mersin and is a well-known hairdresser , entrepreneur, DJ and singer . As a hairdresser, he is, among other things, responsible for the styling of Hande Yener . Kemal also worked with Ivana Sert on the Alışveriş Melekleri show .
• Kerimcan Durmaz (Season 7) , (born November 2, 1994 ) is an openly gay DJ, social media influencer and make-up artist .

• The diva Nur "Nurella" Yerlitaş (seasons 1 to 4, as well as 6 and 7) , was born on December 11, 1960 in Istanbul and is of Arabic - Lasian descent. She works as a designer . During the fifth season she took a break. For health reasons, she had to leave the seventh season a few weeks before the finale.
• Hakan Akkaya (seasons 4 and 5) , (born July 23, 1982 ) is a designer who already appeared in the show Bugün Ne Giysem? , at the side of Ivana Sert and Uğurkan Erez, participated as a juror.
