Ľubomíra Kalinová (born February 11, 1982 in Banská Bystrica ) is a former Slovak cross-country skier and biathlete .
Ľubomíra Kalinová has competed in international cross-country skiing races since 1999. In 2000 in Štrbské Pleso , 2001 in Karpacz and Szklarska Poręba and 2002 in Schonach she took part in the Nordic Junior World Championships. In 2001 she was 16th over 15 kilometers and 19th in the sprint, in 2002 15th over 5 kilometers. At the Winter Universiade 2001 in Zakopane , Kalinová's best placement was a 15th place over 15 kilometers, in 2003 in Tarvisio she was able to improve by one place over the course. At the end of 2001 she started a cross-country skiing world cup race over 5 kilometers for the first time and was 83rd. In eleven world cup races she never finished in the points. Her last international race for five years Kalinová competed in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2003 in Val di Fiemme , where she was 51st in the pursuit. After not achieving the desired results, she then switched to biathlon.
In biathlon Kalinová competed in her first race in 2004 as part of the Biathlon European Cup in Obertilliach . As 27th of the individual, she immediately won first points. She contested her first World Cup race in 2005 in Ruhpolding , where she was 85th in the sprint. In 2007 she was able to finish ninth with the relay in Oberhof . At the 2007 Winter Universiade in Cesana San Sicario , Kalinová was able to place in the top ten in all five races. With the relay she just missed a medal in fourth place. Also with the relay, the Slovak reached her best result as 15th at the Biathlon World Championships 2007 in Antholz . In the sprint, she finished 76th. The next major event was the 2008 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě , where Kalinová was 49th in the sprint, 30th in the pursuit race and fifth in the relay. In the 2008/09 season she achieved her best ever World Cup result in the World Cup at the start of the season in Östersund as the 54th individual. Ľubomíra Kalinová took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her best result was 80th place in the individual.
