(100267) JAXA is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 14 October 1994 by the Japanese astronomer Isao Satō , Masanao Abe and Hiroshi Araki at the Kiso Observatory ( IAU code 381) in Kiso at Mount Ontake was discovered.
The asteroid was named on December 12, 2008 to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Japanese space agency Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
