(14069) Krasheninnikov is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 18 April 1996 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( observatory code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.

The asteroid is named after the Russian explorer and geographer Stepan Petrovich Krasheninnikov (1711–1755), who participated as a student in the Second Kamchatka Expedition led by the Danish captain Vitus Bering and who later created the first complete description of the Russian Kamchatka peninsula .
