(21795) Masi is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 29 September 1999 by the Italian astronomer Franco Mallia at Campo Catino Observatory ( observatory code 468) in the town of Guarcino was discovered.

The asteroid is named after the Italian amateur astronomer Gianluca Masi (* 1972), who has worked at the Campo Catino Observatory since 1988 and is dedicated to the study of asteroids and variable stars , mainly cataclysmic variables .
