(220) Stephania is a asteroid of the main asteroid belt , which on 19 May 1881 by Johann Palisa the Observatory of Wien was discovered.

The asteroid was named after Stephanie of Belgium , who married Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria-Hungary eight days before it was discovered and now served as Crown Princess of the Danube Monarchy .
