(5484) Inoda is an asteroid of the main belt , the November 7, 1990 by Japanese amateur astronomers Takeshi Urata at the Oohira station of Nihondaira Observatory ( IAU code was discovered 385).

The asteroid was named after the Japanese astronomer and colleague of the explorer Shigeru Inoda , with whom he discovered 16 asteroids.
