(6801) Střekov is an asteroid of the main inner belt , which was discovered on October 22, 1995 by the Czech astronomer Zdeněk Moravec at the Kleť observatory ( IAU code 046) near Český Krumlov .
The asteroid was named after the Střekov castle in the urban area of Ústí nL , which was first mentioned in 1319.
