(7636) Comba is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 5 February 1984 of the American US astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station ( IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County was discovered.
The asteroid was named on April 2, 1999 after the Italian-American astronomer and mathematician Paul G. Comba .
