The 1st Amateur League North Baden 1971/72 was the 22nd season of the  1st Amateur League  in North Baden - the forerunner of today's  Baden Association League . North Baden amateur champion was again last year's champion SV Waldhof Mannheim , who finished the promotion round to Regionalliga Süd tied with FC Singen in first place. The Waldhöfer won the deciding 1-0 and thus managed to return to the second division after two years. Amicitia Viernheim , FG Rüppurr and Phönix Mannheim had to relegate to the 2nd amateur league. For the following season 1972/73 came from the 2nd amateur league the promoted FC Dossenheim , Germania Friedrichstal and Germania Mönchzell .
