The BSF Kurpfalz (officially: Billard-Sport-Freunde Kurpfalz / Nußloch 1984 eV ) are a billiard club from Nussloch .

history

The association was created on June 30, 1998 through the merger of 1. BC Wiesloch, founded in 1985, with BSC Walldorf . In 1999 the Bad Schönborn Pool-Players billiards club also joined the club. In 2002 the first pool team of the BSF Kurpfalz won the German 8-Ball-Cup with a final victory against the PBV Rotes Tuch Berlin . In the 2003/04 season they reached third place in the 2nd Bundesliga . After finishing third in 2006 and 2007 , they made it to the first division in the 2007/08 season . There they just managed to stay in the league in 2009 with sixth place, before the BSF Kurpfalz in 2010 relegated to the second division with just four points. In the 2011/12 season, he was promoted to the Bundesliga, which was followed by relegation in the 2012/13 season . A year later , as the runner-up, they just missed direct re-promotion. In the 2014/15 season , the team finished sixth and thus managed to stay in the league, as the PBC Lingen waived the relegation. In the following season they just missed promotion as third with one point behind the 1st PBC Karben .

The club's first snooker team rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2012 after failing several times in the promotion round. In the 2012/13 season , however, came seventh with only seven points and was relegated to the league. For the 2016/17 season, the snooker team was withdrawn from play.
