1. Bundesliga 2008/09

The 1. Bundesliga Snooker 2009/10 was the twelfth season of the top German snooker division . It started on September 5, 2009 and ended on May 16, 2010.

The Barmer Billardfreunde became German champions for the third time in a row . With their fourth title, they became the sole record champions. The three-time German champion PSC Kaufbeuren was relegated to the second division as the last remaining founding member of the Bundesliga after twelve years.

Relegation

The relegation took place from June 5th to 6th, 2010 in the clubhouse of SC 147 Karlsruhe . The PSC Kaufbeuren met as sixth-placed 1st Bundesliga to the runner-up of the two seasons of the 2. Bundesliga 2009/10 , the first DSC Hannover and the BSC Kissing . Since the 1st BC Landsberg withdrew his team for the following season, two teams received a starting place for the 1st Bundesliga 2010/11 via relegation . The two second division teams were able to prevail and rose to the first division, Kaufbeuren rose to the second division.
