1. Bundesliga 2014/15

The 1st Bundesliga Snooker 2015/16 was the 18th season of the top German snooker division . It started on September 12, 2015 and ended on April 24, 2016.

The SC 147 food was on the final day by a 6: 2 win at home against 1. SC Breakers Rüsselsheim first time German champions. Second place went to BC Stuttgart 1891 . Defending champion Hanover finished fourth. The SC Hamburg and the 1st SC Breakers Rüsselsheim were relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga. For the Hessians, who had been in the 1st Bundesliga without interruption since the 1999/2000 season , the second season of the league, relegation was decided on the penultimate matchday by a home defeat against 1st DSC Hannover. The relegation of Hamburg was also determined after the 13th matchday after the SC had lost to the Snookerfabrik Berlin . SAX-MAX Dresden reached fifth place on the last match day with a win against Hamburg and thus managed to stay in the league, but for the following season the club withdrew its team to the Sachsenliga. The BC Schwarz-Blau Horst-Emscher secured the league remaining in the relegation.

Relegation

The relegation took place from June 11th to 12th, 2016 in the clubhouse of the 1st Munich SC . The sixth place in the first division, Schwarz-Blau Horst-Emscher , met the runner-up of the two seasons of the 2. Bundesliga there . The club from Gelsenkirchen-Horst secured the league with victories against BV Villingen-Schwenningen and the Cologne Snooker Club . Since SAX-MAX Dresden withdrew their team from the Bundesliga, BV Villingen-Schwenningen rose to the second place in the relegation to the first division.
