2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline ( diclorane ) is a chemical compound from the group of nitroanilines . It was used as a fungicide mainly against the white stalk of rape.
Extraction and presentation
2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline can be obtained by electrophilic chlorination of 4-nitroaniline.
Admission
The EU Commission decided in 2008 not to include dicloran in the list of permitted active ingredients in pesticides . After another application for approval, she made another negative decision in 2011.
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no pesticides with this active ingredient are permitted.
