Western Mediterranean
- Gaius Licinius Stolo and Gaius Sulpicius Peticus become Roman consuls .
Eastern Mediterranean
- The Spartan King Agesilaus II can be recruited and his mercenary army to fight in the Egyptian throne disputes. His son Archidamos III. takes over the throne in the time of his absence.
- Athens sends a fleet under Triarch Leosthenes to fight Alexander of Pherai . He succeeds in a surprise attack on the Cyclades , killing five Attic triremes and 600 soldiers. The surviving Leosthenes is sentenced to death by the Athenians and executed for his defeat.
Empire of China
- Qin Xiao becomes the new Duke of the Qin Empire , which is systematically expanded under his rule by his legalistic government. He conquered several neighboring countries - and made his empire a model state of legalism , which recommended the criminal law as an instrument of rule. Qin is divided into 31 counties, which are administered by officials.
