750 kV line Albertirsa – Sachidnoukrainskaja – Vinnytsia
The 750 kV line Albertirsa-Sachidnoukrainskaja-Vinnytsia ( . Ung Albertirsa-Vinnytsya-távvezeték , . Ukr Лінія електропередачі Альбертірша-Вінниця ) is a maximum voltage - three-phase transmission line in Hungary and in the Ukraine . It is the only 750 kV line in Hungary and thus one of the few lines at this voltage level in the European Union .
history
On February 28, 1974, the USSR , Hungary, the GDR , the People's Republic of Poland and the ČSSR signed a cooperation agreement for the construction of a 750 kV line between Hungary and the Ukrainian SSR .
In 1975 the construction of the connection, which was designed for a capacity of almost 2000 MVA , began, and in 1979 it was completed.
After political and economic changes, the line was initially taken out of service in 1993. Background were the revolutions of 1989 (fall of the Iron Curtain in Hungary), the collapse of the Soviet Union (independence of Ukraine) and the resulting restructuring of the CENTREL - interconnected system (synchronization of the Hungarian electricity network with the then UCPTE -Verbundnetz in the European grid system ; see also ENTSO-E ).
After installing some components, the line went back into operation in spring 2002.
course
The 479 km long line begins in the Hungarian Albertirsa substation ( 47 ° 13 ′ 28 ″ N , 19 ° 34 ′ 48 ″ E ) southeast of Budapest . It heads east past Szolnok and turns north-east at Püspökladány to avoid the Hortobágyi National Park . It crosses the M35 motorway at Hajdúböszörmény northwest of Debrecen and the M3 at Nagykálló . At Tiszakerecseny it crosses the border with Ukraine . From there it runs in a wide arc west of Mukachevo and crosses the Carpathian Forest . Thereafter, the serving in Zhydachiv Raion between locations Zhydachiv and Khodoriv (UKR Західноукраїнська. Substation West Ukraine preferred Sachidnoukrajinska ; '' 11 ° 49 23 N , 24 ° 14 '57 " O ) as a network attachment point. From there, the line continues east to the Vinnytsia substation ( 49 ° 9 ′ 54 ″ N , 28 ° 43 ′ 23 ″ E ), which is located in the Vinnytsia district, southeast of the city of Vinnytsia .
construction
Portal masts are used as support masts , which are free-standing and otherwise guyed structures in flood areas - e.g. when crossing rivers. As guy masts , free-standing masts are used on the Hungarian side and special free-standing constructions made up of three single masts with one and a half trusses are used on the Ukrainian side , in which the middle conductor cable is guided around the mast construction with the help of insulators on this half traverse.
