Hajdúböszörmény [ ˈhɒjduːbøsørmeːɲ ] (German: Betschermen ) is a Hungarian city with about 32,000 inhabitants. It is located northwest of Debrecen and belongs to Hajdú-Bihar County . After Debrecen, it is the second largest city in the county and the largest city in the suburb of the same name . The main road 35 leads through the city .
The city's outstanding architectural monument is the oldest public building in the county, which was the seat of the former Hajdú county . The village became known for its thermal spa. The statue "Dancing Hajduk " is dedicated to Prince István Bocskai on the main square (Bocskai tér) .
