The A5 motorway is a motorway in Cyprus . The highway forms a connection between the A1 to Limassol and the city of Larnaka , it is 19 kilometers long.
Street description
The motorway starts at the Kofinou junction on the A1 motorway from Nicosia to Limassol. The highway has four lanes and runs a little inland towards the east to Larnaka. The road mainly serves the places along the route and ends on the A3 or B5 west of Larnaka.
history
The motorway replaces the old main road B5, which runs parallel to the motorway. It thus connects the largest port Limassol with the largest airport Larnaka on Cyprus.
