The B1 is a first-order main road in Cyprus . It connects the capital Nicosia with the coastal city of Limassol in the south of the island over a distance of 80 km.

The B1 begins in the urban area of ​​Nicosia just south of the border with Northern Cyprus . The Autobahn 1 branches off south of the city , replacing the supra-regional function of the B1. That is why the road runs largely parallel to the motorway and crosses it several times. First going south, the B1 crosses the towns of Latsia , Dali , Nisou and Pera Chorio , crosses the A2 towards Larnaka and follows the A1 further south. After crossing the A5 at Kofinou , the road turns in a south-westerly direction until it reaches the south coast at around Governor's Beach . From here it follows the coast through the suburbs of Limassol and ends in Limassol at the level of the port of Limassol .
