Pera Chorio ( Greek Πέρα Χοριό ) is a place in the Nicosia District in Cyprus . At the 2001 census, the place had 2236 inhabitants.

Pera Chorio is located east of the Troodos Mountains , relatively central in the middle of the island . The place is a few kilometers south of the capital Nicosia , about halfway from Nicosia to Larnaka on the Gualias River , which separates Pera Chorio from its neighboring town of Nisou . Other neighboring towns are Dali , Alambra and Agia Varvara .

Due to its central location, the place has good transport links. The larger cities of Cyprus can be easily reached via the A1 and A2 , which meet not far from the town. Regional connections exist through the main roads B1 and B2 .
