Alethriko ( Greek Αλεθρικό , Turkish Aletriko ) is a place in the Larnaka district in Cyprus . In 2011 the place had 1101 inhabitants.

Location in Larnaka District

Alethriko is located in the south-eastern center of the island of Cyprus at an altitude of 120 meters, about 36 km south-east of the capital Nicosia , 14 km south-west of Larnaka and 46 km north-east of Limassol . The distance to the Mediterranean Sea is about 7 kilometers.

The place is located directly on the highway 5 between Larnaka and the A1 , which opens up the west of Cyprus. The B5 also leads through Alethriko itself, also coming from Larnaka. The larger cities of the island are therefore easy to reach from the place via the motorway.

Places in the vicinity are Klavdia in the northeast, Tersefanou in the east, Kivisili and Aplanta in the south and Anglisides in the northwest.
