Melini ( Greek Μελίνη ) is a place in the Larnaka district in Cyprus . At the last official census in 2011, the place had 59 inhabitants.

Melini is located in the south-eastern center of the island of Cyprus at an altitude of around 600 meters, around 37 km southwest of the capital Nicosia , 41 km west of Larnaka and 20 km northeast of Limassol .

The place is located just 17 km from the Mediterranean Sea in the far west of the Larnaka district on the border with the Limassol district and the Nicosia district in the Troodos Mountains . It can be reached via winding roads from the south and east.

Places in the area are Odou in the north, Agioi Vavatsinias and Ora in the east, in the Limassol district Akapnou in the southeast, Eptagonia in the south, Arakapas in the southwest and Sykopetra in the west.
