Petrofani ( Greek Πετροφάνι , Turkish Esendağ ) is an abandoned city and a municipality in the district of Larnaca in Cyprus . At the last official census in 2011, the place had no inhabitants.

Petrofani is located in the eastern center of the island of Cyprus at an altitude of 186 meters, about 19 km southeast of the capital Nicosia , 15 km northwest of Larnaka and 56 km northeast of Limassol .

The place is located about 16 km from the Mediterranean Sea on the Bay of Larnaka in the interior of the island. It is located in the buffer zone of the UN to the TRNC .

Places in the vicinity are Athienou in the northeast, Avdellero in the southeast, the also abandoned town of Goşşi in the south and Louroujina in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Lympia in the southwest.
