Anafotia ( Greek Αναφωτία , Turkish Akkor ) is a place in the Larnaka district in Cyprus . At the last official census in 2011, the place had 790 inhabitants. The official name of the community has been Anafotida since 1994 , but Anafotia is still in use .

Anafotia is located in the south of the island of Cyprus at an altitude of 105 meters, about 39 km south of the capital Nicosia , 18 km southwest of Larnaka and 39 km east-northeast of Limassol .

The place is located in the hilly coastal hinterland, the eastern foothills of the Troodos Mountains begin in the north and the Mediterranean Sea begins after about 5 km in the south .

Places in the area are Menogeia and Anglisides in the north, Alethriko in the northeast, Aplanta and Kivisili in the east, Mazotos in the south and Alaminos and Agios Theodoros in the west.
