Psematismenos ( Greek Ψεματισμένος , Turkish Yalancıköy ) is a place in the Larnaka district in the south of Cyprus . In 2011 the place had 271 inhabitants. In the village is the chapel of Agios Andronikos .

Location of the municipality in the Larnaka district

The small town is located in the south of the island , a few kilometers from the coast, at an altitude of 110 m. Psematismenos is located about 45 km south of the capital Nicosia and about 30 km southwest of Larnaka . The village can be reached via the Autobahn 1 passing north . Neighboring towns in the area are Choirokoitia , Tochni , Zygi and Maroni .
