Melouseia ( Greek Μελούσεια , Turkish Kırıkkale ) is a place in the Lefkoşa district of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus or de jure in the Larnaka district of the Republic of Cyprus . At the last official census in 2011, the place had 390 inhabitants.

Melouseia is located in the southeast of the island of Cyprus at an altitude of 126 meters, about 22 km southeast of the capital Nicosia , 16 km north of Larnaka and 31 km west of Famagusta .

The place is located about 14 km from the Mediterranean Sea on the Bay of Larnaka in the island's interior. It is about 2 kilometers from the buffer zone to the southern part.

Places in the vicinity are Agia in the north, Tremetousia and Arsos in the east, Troulloi and Avdellero in the Republic of Cyprus in the south and Athienou and Pyrogi in the west.
