Troulli (also transcribed as Troulloi , Greek Τρούλλοι ) is a municipality in the Larnaka district in Cyprus . At the last official census in 2011, it had 1175 inhabitants.

The place is one of the few places in Cyprus that are located within the buffer zone to the northern part of the island. The name Troulli probably comes from the dome-shaped hills around the place.

Troulli is located in the southeast of the island of Cyprus at an altitude of 111 meters, about 26 km southeast of the capital Nicosia , 11 km north of Larnaka and 62 km northeast of Limassol . It is located inland about 9 km from the Mediterranean Sea on the Bay of Larnaka .

About 500 m southeast of the village is a copper mine that was already used in ancient times. It is the only mine in Cyprus that is outside the foothills of the Troodos Mountains . The mine was probably one of the main suppliers to the ancient city of Kiti and its copper processing facilities, which were located in the 13th century BC. Developed. The mine has been used again since the 1920s. In addition to copper, various companies also mined gold and silver, which were processed in a nearby factory. However, with the Turkish invasion of 1974, operations were stopped.

Places in the vicinity are Tremetousia , Melouseia and Arsos in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the north, Pergamos and Pyla in the east, Oroklini in the southeast, Kellia in the south and Avdellero and Athienou in the west.
