AC Schnitzer has been a brand of KOHL automobile GmbH since 1987 , an Aachen- based vehicle tuner for vehicles of the BMW Group with its brands Mini , Land Rover and Jaguar . The AC in the name of the brand stands for "Aachen". The company has common roots with Schnitzer Motorsport , but is an economically and legally independent company. The parts are manufactured by industrial companies according to AC Schnitzer's specifications.

Brands and products

The range includes around 2,500 products such as chassis, sports exhaust systems, interior fittings or light metal rims as well as complete vehicles and performance enhancements for gasoline and diesel engines. Most of the accessories can be obtained directly from BMW authorized dealers. More complex conversions are carried out in Aachen. The AC Schnitzer special parts program is distributed exclusively for each country via a general importer.
