The 1940-41 season was the 15th regular season for the American Hockey Association (AHA). The champions became the St. Louis Flyers .

In the regular season, the six teams played 48 games each. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs. These were held in the best-of-five mode. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
