Clearance office

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the area of cross-border goods traffic, a clearance point is a branch of a customs office or main customs office .

These branch offices are set up if there is a high volume of clearance at a location that is too far away from the office, but it is not worth setting up your own customs office. Typical examples are train stations, container terminals, large companies / freight forwarders, etc.

From an organizational point of view, the branch offices belong to the respective offices and some have different working hours than these.
