Abraham Kattumana ( Malayalam മാർ ഏബ്രഹാം കാട്ടുമന Mār Ēbrahāṁ Kāṭṭumana ; born January 21, 1944 in Thottakam , India ; † April 4, 1995 ) was a Syro-Malabar archbishop and Vatican diplomat .

Life

Abraham Kattumana received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Ernakulam on May 3, 1969 .

On May 8, 1991 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Titular Archbishop of Cebarades and ordered him to Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Ghana , Togo and Benin . The Archbishop of Ernakulam, Antony Cardinal Padiyara , donated him episcopal ordination on August 3 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Thamarasserry , Sebastian Mankuzhikary , and the Bishop of Palai , Joseph Pallikaparampil .
