Adalbert Theodor Eduard Georg Benedikt Maria Freiherr von Poschinger-Bray , born Freiherr Poschinger von Frauenau (born August 28, 1912 in Munich ; † June 29, 2001 in Irlbach ), was a German entrepreneur .

Live and act

He was the fourth child of the landowner and Imperial Councilor of the Crown of Bavaria Eduard Freiherr Poschinger von Frauenau and his wife Elisabeth. On his mother's side he was a great-grandson of the Bavarian Prime Minister Otto Graf von Bray-Steinburg and on his father's side he came from the Poschinger glassmaker dynasty .

Poschinger-Bray studied economics and law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , obtained his doctorate and married Anna Countess von Bray-Steinburg on December 29, 1941 . The marriage had five children.

After serving at the front and being seriously wounded in the Second World War , he took over responsibility for the castle brewery and the Irlbach estate. From 1954 to 1962 he was a member of the district assembly of Lower Bavaria. Poschinger-Bray was also a member of the supervisory board of the South German Sugar Beet Association. He campaigned for a higher beet sugar price.
