The hut in front of the Kalkkögel

The Adolf-Pichler-Hütte is a refuge of the Academic Alpine Club Innsbruck (AAKI); it lies at 1977  m above sea level. A. Height in the upper Senderstal west below the Kalkkögel in the Stubai Alps .

history

The hut was built by the Innsbruck Academic Alpine Club in 1903 and 1904 and was named after the Tyrolean writer and geologist Adolf Pichler .

Approach

From the parking lot of the Kemater Alm ( 1673  m above sea level ) the ascent takes an hour. The walking time from Grinzens ( 928  m above sea level ) is three hours.
