The Große Ochsenwand is a 2700 m high mountain in the Stubai Alps in the Austrian state of Tyrol . The mountain in the Kalkkögeln is mainly known to mountaineers for the Schlicker via ferrata , which leads from the Schlickeralm via the Große Ochsenwand and the Kleine Ochsenwand to the Alpenklubscharte (approx. 5.5 hours). Another approach is via the Adolf-Pichler-Hütte . To the southwest of the summit is the 2774 m high Riepenwand , north of the Kleine Ochsenwand ( 2553 m ).
