The Hohe Burgstall is a 2611 m high mountain in the Kalkkögeln in the Stubai Alps , southeast of the 2804 m high Schlicker Seespitze . The summit offers a good view of the Oberbergtal , the rear Stubaital , the Serleskamm and the Kalkkögeln.
Climbs
The summit can be reached from the south from the Starkenburger Hut .
From the north a rock channel leads to the summit: A well-marked path leads from the Schlick to the Sennjoch . Continue up to Burgstalljoch and on the way to Schlicker Scharte, climb left through the rock channel to the summit. Alternatively, the rock channel can also be reached from the Schlicker Scharte.
The Zentralalpenweg 02A leads through the western flank of the Hohen Burgstall .
